Hotel Accommodations for the EMAC Conference
Most hotel accommodations offered for the conference are within walking distance (5 to 15 minutes) of the conference facilities (ISCTE - IUL).
Various hotels ranging from 3 to 5 stars are available depending on your comfort needs.
You are welcome to book your accommodations starting the 19th May through the 27th May, 2012.
Hotel reservations should be booked no later than 22nd April, 2012, as the booking office cannot guarantee availability after this date.
Optional Social Activities (21st and 23rd May 2012)
You are invited to DISCOVER LISBON! A city with more than two thousand years of history.
Enjoy a calm and relaxing dinner by the sea and taste some of the freshest fish Portugal has to offer the night before the conference begins. Join us again on the second evening of the conference in the ultra popular and modern Lisbon Expo district for dinner and some entertainment.
Weekend Sightseeing Tours and Other Outings
We highly recommend that you utilize the weekends before and after the conference to explore the beauty and diversity of Portugal - its monuments, history, culture, gastronomy, mountainous landscapes, vast plains and expansive Atlantic coastline.
However, if you are more in the mood to relax, we also invite you to enjoy the warm sunshine and calming beaches. Pamper yourself with some spa treatments or tour about the famous wine cellars to taste some of the best wines Portugal has to offer!
Whether you are interested in adventure, relaxation or both, we can help you make the most of your time in Portugal. We also recommend that you book any tours first and then your hotel for the conference.
Payment terms
Payments must be made through a Credit Card (VISA or MasterCard) or Bank Transfer. American Express cards are not accepted.
Confirmation of Reservation
After making your reservation(s), you will receive a confirmation of your booking by email.After payment you will receive your voucher by email. For billing purposes please provide your name, address and fiscal number during the booking.
Cancellation / Refund Policy
Hotel cancellations will be accepted until the 15th April 2012.
However a fee of 50€ per person will be charged and deducted from any refund. After the 15th April, cancellations still must cover 100% of the costs. You may change the names on a reservation, but there will be a fee of 30€ charged per change.
